The apple cake was not as expected – it was chewy and underdone. of course, I used yogurt rather than buttermilk so…I guess it is to be expected.
I have frozen it in the hopes that it will make a nice base for a berry crumble.
Today was a sunny and we enjoyed the company of friends. Quinton said several times, “today was a fun day.”
