I just got sucked into cleaning off our external hard drive – it is almost full so…and I found this written when Quinton was 16 days old.
Quinn is doing great as are his parents! We actually rented a movie last night and watched it all – minus a few pauses here and there for mega spit up and a diaper change. We rented Catch Me If You Can which was quite enjoyable.
At 11 days he weighed 8lbs 14 ozs so i feel confident that breastfeeding is going well! He sleeps in two and a half to 3 hour segments at night so we are getting some sleep.
He is getting much more alert and has happy awake periods where we just stare at him and cuddle!
He laid down in the cradle for the first time today while awake and almost fell asleep but not quite…at any rate it gave me a chance to put dinner in the crockpot and fold two loads of laundry. woo hoo
his eye is still goopy but dr. steinweg seemed unconcerned so i am trying to be the same :>
napped for the first time in his stroller for almost 1.5 hours after falling asleep nursing
